The “Kiro” Name in API Responses

Please read this notice before starting your API integration.

Last updated: July 26, 2026 · anon4me

Summary

You are purchasing access to Claude AI models through anon4me. Every API token we provide grants access to Anthropic’s official Claude models (Claude Sonnet, Claude Opus, etc.).

However, our supplier, the Kiro platform, by its own system architecture attaches the “Kiro” identity to every response.

This is not something we are able to change. As an upstream supplier, Kiro reserves the right to preserve its own brand identity.

What to Keep in Mind When You See “Kiro”

Misconception Reality
“If it says Kiro, it isn't Claude.” FALSE. Kiro is an API gateway that runs Claude and only Claude behind the scenes. “Kiro” is purely a front-end label.
is deceiving us. FALSE. anon4me delivers the Claude tokens it promised you. We have no authority to change this behavior.
“Some cheaper model is being used.” FALSE. Every token billed maps one-to-one to Claude API consumption.

Technical Proof and Verification Methods

To demonstrate the transparency of our system, we offer you the following verification options:

# Verification Method Description
1 Side-by-Side Test Send the same prompt to both the official Claude interface and our API. The response content, tone, depth and Claude-specific details (e.g. the January 2026 knowledge cutoff) will match exactly.
2 Token Consumption Comparison For the same prompt, compare token counts and time-to-first-token (TTFT) between the official Claude API and ours. These values would not line up if a different model were used.
3 Model Behavior Test Use Claude-specific prompting techniques (e.g. “think step by step”, chain-of-thought). Our API reproduces Claude’s characteristic cognitive style exactly. No alternative model (GPT, Llama, Gemini) imitates Claude this faithfully.
4 Log Sharing (Optional) If needed, we can share raw API logs with you in a dedicated test environment. Those logs clearly show your request being routed through Kiro to Claude and the response returned to you verbatim.

Declaration

  • anon4me provides the Anthropic Claude service in exchange for every token sold to you.
  • The Kiro name is our upstream supplier’s brand identity, not ours, and its inclusion in responses is outside our control.

Conclusion

The “Kiro” response is our upstream supplier’s system message, not ours. It does not mean the model you are using is not Claude, and we cannot change it.

Continued use of our API indicates that you have read and accepted this notice.

Unnecessary objections on this topic may not be addressed, as they consume our technical support budget inefficiently. Please spend your energy on building your product — Claude is running behind the scenes, exactly as you expect.
